The fabric is heavy and should last, but, it isn't wide enough to accomodate the mirrors, putting the cover on pulls the mirrors out of alignment. I ride a VStar 650, the width across the mirrors is about the same as most cruisers, which is too wide for this cover, or my previous one. It is also too shallow at the rear, there is no allowance for a backrest, so the bottom of the wheel is exposed. Windshield? Forget it. This manufacturer needs to start looking at bikes in the real world, not on the showroom floor. -- Not wide enough

this is a heavier duty cover. My son had his bike at college and said that his cover was the only one that survived a couple of wind storms. It fits snugly so order the cover that fits your bike. The locking feature was a must for him too. This is a WAAAAAY better cover than the cheap ones you can get at wallyworld. -- bike cover
You can spend upwards of a hundred dollars for a cover, especially if you shop at the local Harley store. This is a very nice cover for the money, as it has elastic and bungees and vents in all the right places. I do feel that it is just a tad too small for my Heritage Softail. The bike has fairly high handlebars and mirrors, plus the large soft bags. But all the essentials are covered, and I would buy this product again.
Update.......... I have to say that when my wife bought a Sportster, the cover fit perfectly on it! So I bought the biggest one for my Heritage Softail. I let that cover go with the Sportster when she sold it, but I just ordered another XXL for the Fat Boy Lo she just bought. Great covers! -- Good cover for the money!
